STORDANSK BOYSAust Ch Stordansk G'Stone Webe Awesum Imp USASpeck 16/11/1998 - 27/9/2007 |
Speck and Julie in Illinois USA, aged 15 weeks. We had to wait until he was 11 months old to travel to Australia.
Stordansk G'stone Webe Awesum arrived on the 30th of October, 1999. His first show was three weeks later at the prestigious "Spring Fair Dog Show". With over 2,200 dogs entered, Speck won "Junior in Show" on Sunday 21st of November 1999.
By 14 months, Speck had won many Group awards and was only a few points off becoming an Australian Champion. He is the future for my kennel, already having been bred to my Nike daughter Roxy. (Pups born on the 29th February, 2000). I would like to thanks Gay Hughes from Grindstone Kennels, Carmi Illinois for letting me have this beautiful boy.
Wonderful temperament, exceptional markings, large bone, typey long fore faced head, tight brown eyes, extraordinary movement, plus height and elegance, this young Dane has it all! |

Thank you to everyone overseas who has purchased Specks frozen semen, unfortunately there is no more semen available for purchase in the USA. Three top harlequin kennels in the USA still have Specks semen, Paintedmedows, Davincidanes and Tolam Great Danes. We wish them every success in using the semen in the future. |

Speck won his first "Best In Specialty Show" in November, 2000, under Japanese judge Mr Jin Inamura. Speck's daughter Diva won "Minor Puppy in Show" and also "Best Harlequin"

Speck was the top winning harlequin in New South Wales for over three and a half years, two years in a row coming "Runner-Up Dane of the Year", with over 60 Danes competing in the Club's Point Score. Speck won over 50 Group Wins, including Best in Group and Age in Group, and over 10 In Show Wins, with a Runner-up to Best in Show All Breeds and a Consolation to Best in Show all Breeds in the last year that he was shown. Unfortunately Speck broke his tail and had to have 8 inches removed. This cut his very successful show career short. At the time he was on 900 points, needing 1000 points to be the FIRST Harlequin Grand Champion in New South Wales, and the First Imported Harlequin Grand Champion in Australia, but it wasn't meant to be... He will always be a Grand Champion to me! |

Speck at 4 and a 1/2 years old. Speck had passed all his health tests with flying colours. At nearly 6 years old his hips and elbows were scored a "0" - the highest score you can attain. Speck sired outstanding puppies, producing 30% to 80% harlequin in every litter. |
